Penny shortfall has projects in limbo
SARASOTA COUNTY - The pennies are not adding up.  Sarasota County leaders say they're more than $200 million below expected numbers for the penny surtax money.  The shortfall means more than 24 planned projects are in limbo.
Englewood Beach business owners petitioning county
ENGLEWOOD BEACH - Some Englewood Beach business owners say a proposed concession stand is a slap in the face.  They say the county is looking to put in what they call a "mobile restaurant" right on the beach, taking away their business and creating an eyesore.

SARASOTA COUNTY - After going unreported in Florida for decades, cases of Dengue fever are back.  The disease is transmitted by mosquitoes, and so far 24 people have tested positive. Now Sarasota County Health Department workers say someone who lives on the Suncoast has been infected.
